Create Price Discovery

For In-Depth Strategic Analysis
  1. Navigate to Pricing Studies: From the left-hand menu, select "Pricing studies."
  2. Select Your Audience: Choose the study type based on your audience.
    1. Priceagent Market Panel: Select this option to utilize Priceagent's extensive panel of verified buyers.
    2. Bring Your Own Audience: Choose this if you will be providing your own respondents.
  3. Define Your Study
    1. Survey Name: Enter a clear, descriptive name for your study. This name will serve as the heading and will be used to locate your study.
    2. Pricing a Service or a Product: Select whether you are pricing a service or a physical product. The survey questions will be slightly different depending on your choice to ensure relevance.
  4. Describe Your Offering:
    1. Description: Describe the product/service you are selling, using a generic name.
      1. We recommend beginning the description with a lowercase letter unless using a proper brand name.
      2. Use the generic name using articles a/an or in plural.
      3. For example, "running shoes" or "a leather bag."
    2. Uniqueness: Detail what makes your product/service unique. Providing more detail here allows the AI to generate a more accurate and compelling introduction to the study.
    3. Intended Price: Enter the price you intend to set or your current price. This value will be used as a reference point in the final results and analysis.
    4. Product Quantity (Optional): This field is only relevant if you need respondents to be aware of the exact quantity included with the product.
    5. Usage Frequency: Find out and get insights on how often people would use your product or service. This helps determine value perception based on a customer's usage habits.

 

For studies using Priceagent Market Panel

  1. Define target audience:
    1. Specify the geographic region you want to target and the language for the survey
    2. define the age gap. ensure this is not too narrow, as this might cause issues
  2. Generate the Survey: Click "AI Generate survey".
    1. Note: If you receive a ❗️ on the "Preview" button, it indicates an issue that requires attention before proceeding.
  3. Review Survey: review the generated survey. The introduction and response alternatives are editable. The questions themselfes are non editable e to ensure data consistency. The questions generated have been carefully been selected and reviewed by Priceagent experts to generate the best possible outcome.
  4. Launch the survey: Click "Launch survey"
    1. Note: if launch is not possible, ensure you have enough credits on your account.
  5. Data Collection: Sit back and relax while we collect insights and generate an analysis. We will notify you when all results are in.

 For studies using own audience

  1. Redirect links (optional): Redirect links are used when you purchase panel from another supplier or need another system to track who completed the survey. If you leave them blank a standard end page will be shown to the respondent
  2. Define target audience:
    1. Region and language: Specify the geographic region you want to target and the language for the survey
    2. Amount of Respondents: Input the number of respondents needed. This is how the system knows when to mark the study as complete. We suggest a minimum of 400 respondents for a robust data set and statistically significant results.
  3. Generate the Survey: Click "AI Generate survey".
  4. Review Survey: review the generated survey. The introduction and response alternatives is the only section that is editable. All other questions are non-editable to ensure data consistency. The questions generated have been carefully been selected and reviewed by Priceagent experts to generate the best possible outcome.
  5. Launch the survey: Click "Launch survey"
    1. Note: if launch is not possible, ensure you have enough credits on your account.
  6. Distribute the Survey Link: Start sending out your survey using the provided link to your target audience.
  7. Data Collection: Sit back and relax while results are being collected and analysis generated.
