Study Statuses & Progress

Track and monitor the lifecycle of your study from initial draft to final results.

Study Status Definitions

The platform uses four distinct statuses to describe the current state of your pricing research, ensuring you know exactly when to expect actionable insights.

Draft

This is the pre-launch phase. Your survey has been created, but not launched. You are currently refining the questions, target audience, or product description before going live.

Gathering

Your study is live and actively collecting responses from the market.

Deviating

The study is taking longer than the standard target time. This typically occurs when targeting a very narrow or niche audience. Our target completion for Price Checks is within 24 hours, and Price Discovery within 7 days.

Finished

The study has reached its respondent goal and is ready for review. Priceagent has generated your Price Pulse, and you can immediately begin your willingness-to-pay (WTP) analysis to identify optimal price points.

Progress

Once a study enters the Gathering phase, you can monitor its trajectory in real time to plan your subsequent business actions. As soon as initial answers are gathered, the platform begins showing indicative results, allowing for early strategic internal discussions.

Progress Bar: Follow the progress toward your respondent goal directly within the dashboard. Respondent goal for Price Checks are 100 respondents, and 400 in a Price Discovery. Once the progress goal is met, the study automatically moves to Finished, signaling that the data is statistically significant and ready to take conclusions on.
