Get to Know Who We Asked: Ensuring High Quality Respondents
For every pricing study conducted with Priceagent, detailed information about the survey respondents is logged to ensure transparency and data quality. Understanding this data is crucial for interpreting survey results and ensuring the reliability of the derived pricing insights.
Respondent Data Breakdown
We break down the Respondent data into different categories based on their participation status and quality checks:
- Completes: These are the respondents who successfully qualified for the survey and completed it. Their responses form the basis for the study results.
- Low Quality Terminate: These respondents were initially qualified but were terminated during the survey due to failing quality check rules. We a large set of rules, including terminating if responding too quickly or providing illogical answers to the pricing questions.
- Screened Out: These are individuals who did not respond correctly to the initial question designed to check their interest or eligibility for the survey. They were filtered out before starting the main survey.
- Disqualified: These individuals were considered for the survey but were terminated because they were found to be ineligible. Reasons for disqualification include taking the survey multiple times (duplicate) or exiting the survey prematurely.
Gender of Respondents
The gender breakdown is presented in a separate chart, showing the percentage of Qualified Respondents that are Male and Female. This segmentation information is used to:
- Determine the most attractive target group based on demand.
- Identify differences in willingness to pay between genders.
